How does the process work?
Initial Chat – We’ll start with a quick call or message to go over your vacation goals, preferences, and budget.
Invoice Payment - If a fee is required for your vacation style, an invoice will be sent. This must be paid prior to any research being done.
Customized Options – I’ll research and send you tailored vacation options that match your needs, including pricing and details.
Booking – Once you decide, I’ll take care of the booking and make sure everything is confirmed and accurate.
Support & Prep – I’ll be your go-to for questions, account setup, tips, packing lists, dining and activity guidance, and more—right up to travel day.
What should I have before reaching out?
The main things to have in mind when reaching out is your desired destination, dates of travel, and an idea of budget.
Do you book all vacation types?
Our agency specializes in "Family Vacations" (Disney/Universal/Cruises/etc.) However, I have helped many couples with their honeymoon travel, all-inclusive vacations, and weekend getaways. So please do not hesitate to reach out to see if we are a good fit for your next trip!
How do I know that you are legit?
All certified travel agents must register with the national CLIA association.
Please go to Cruising.org and look me up with "Travel agent finder."
You can search for travel agents in a certain area. My zip code is 08332. My company is Melissa Mouse Travels.
You will see me registered there. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out by email or phone.
Will you get me discounts?
Pricing is often the same as booking direct, since I work with trusted suppliers to ensure your trip is secure and fully backed.
Occasionally, I do get access to exclusive rates and promotions which I will always share with my clients when available.
I’ll also monitor for new promotions—like Disney discounts—and automatically apply them when possible. For cruises, I offer a one-time complimentary re-pricing before final payment to help you save.
I'm a bit of a control freak. Will you be taking over?
We are not a "book and go" agency. I do pride myself on personally assisting with vacations and guiding clients along the way. I will not however take over anything that you want to handle yourself. If you want to do the dining reservations or find your own excursions, that is okay.
I do however require that hotels, cruises, and the "main parts" of the trip are booked on my end as that is a big part of how we are compensated for our work.
Do you ever charge a planning fee?
As of January 2025, most vacation types will require a small planning fee (between $50 & $200). This is to ensure that I'm working with clients who are serious about traveling and allows me to focus my time and energy on a smaller client base. In turn, this assures each of my booked clients that they are getting the attention to detail that they truly deserve.
I booked on my own. Can you still help?
Certain trips can be transferred to an agent at no cost to you.

If a trip cannot be transferred, planning fees will be discussed.
